the place wasn't expensive.
it's one jeepney ride to Kalayaan Avenue from Cubao. the ride costs eight pesos.
the experience...priceless.
this crowded yet organized and private place gave an impression of the old "Antipolo Over-looking places" minus the actual view. but that was a small price to pay.
there are VIP rooms for friends (or the other kinds) to conduct their karaoke sessions privately unhindered by the various celebrations in other rooms as well. the price is five hundred pesos per hour. cheap because, unlike other KTV places, they do not consider the headcount and the price is consumable. meaning you can order food and booze for the same amount with unlimited access to the karaoke.
the food itself is not gourmet but not bad at all. we (9 people) feasted on inihaw na bangus, pork and chicken barbeque, chicken lollipops, fries and breaded chicken strips, onion rings, squid, and pork chops. the drinks ranged from a variety of fruit juices and soda to vodka and beer.
for four solid hours we stuffed ourselves with good food, great booze, cool songs and amazing friendship.
it was an experience i'm sure to have again.
